The global crude oil prices continued to move up, with the Nymex U.S. light crude oil for July delivery rising further over the Tuesday's close by $1.30 to close at $56.30 per barrel, off its day's high of $56.70 per barrel. In the commodity area, the Comex gold gained $1.60 to settle at $430.90 an ounce.
