Global trade fair organisation, Worlddidac Association, today said over 70 companies have participated in the ongoing three-day exhibition on educational products and training material, that ends today.
"Worlddidac India 2009 has seen participation from 70 prominent manufacturers, suppliers, publishers and distributors of educational and training products, solutions and services from across the globe," the firm said in a statement.
Companies including HCL Infosystems, Educomp Solutions, Intel, Matrix Multimedia, Siemens among others are participating in the exhibition, jointly organised by World Didac Association and Arclights Eventz Network Ltd.
"There is a need to showcase and bring global technology and products to the Indian market and open doors to sustained progress. Worlddidiac India 2009 aims to cater to this need by bringing everyone in the industry under one umbrella," Worlddidac President Dominic Savage said.
Besides, Worlddidac also announced the launch of its India chapter, India Didac Association.
"India Didac Association, the first of its kind in India, will be a conglomerate of all suppliers, manufacturers and service and solution providers to the education industry in the country," it said.
The association will have more than 60 members from the education industry including HCL Infosystems, Intel, Educomp Solutions among others, it added.
