Updated at 1135 hrs: The Union Cabinet today decided to table the findings of the Justice Pathak Authority, indicting former External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh in the Iraqi oil-for-food scam, along with the Action Taken Report on it in the Parliament.

The ATR, along with the 110-page Pathak report will be placed before Parliament at 12 noon, Parliamentary Affairs Minister P R Dasmunsi said after a 45-minute Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

However, no details about the ATR were given by any of the ministers to waiting reporters at the South Block office of the Prime Minister.

Government was weighing various possible options as a follow up to the Justice Pathak authority report which had exonerated the Congress Party.

The options before the government are to handover some cases flowing out of the authority report to the Enforcement Directorate for alleged FEMA violations and some to other appropriate investigative agencies.
