Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will give "further clarification" on the Indo-Pak joint statement issued at Sharm-el Sheikh when he speaks on the issue in Parliament tomorrow, External Affairs Minister S M Krishna said here today.
"Tomorrow, the whole gamut of relationship between India and Pakistan is being discussed with the Prime Minister himself making further clarification on the joint statement that has been issued in Sharm-el Sheikh. So, let us wait for tomorrow's discussion," he told reporters.
Parliament will discuss the controversial joint statement in the wake of the Opposition's attack on the government and the charges that the country's interests have been compromised by it.
Krishna refused to comment on the Pakistan Army chief General Ashfaq Kayani's reported remarks linking action against LeT to India putting a stop to its alleged interference in Balochistan.
"I would not like to comment (on it) in view of the impending discussion in both Houses of Parliament," the External Affairs Minister said when referred to Kayani's remarks.
