Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has accepted an invitation from US President George W Bush for a visit but no dates have been decided so far. |
"The prime minister has accepted the invitation. However, the dates are yet to be fixed," External Affairs Ministry spokesman Navtej Sarna said when asked about reports that Singh had declined Bush's invitation. |

Bush has invited Singh for a visit to his private ranch in Texas. The prime minister is unlikely to travel abroad till September 10 because of the monsoon session of Parliament. The visit is expected in the third week of next month. |

With the talks on civil nuclear deal concluded, Singh and Bush are expected to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in defence, agriculture, and science and technology. |
