Denying a media report here today, speculating that the party has second thoughts about its support to the Manmohan Singh government, PMK founder leader Dr S Ramadoss said that a whip has been issued to all party MPs to vote for the motion.
He said that a section of the media "close to the forces that are bent on toppling the UPA government" was trying to draw his party into a controversy.
"Our party is a open book. When we support, we go all out. When we oppose, we do the same", he said, adding that the reports had no basis.
He said his party supported the Indo-US nuclear deal. "We had even passed a resolution in our general council in support of the deal. When the situation is like this, how can one think we will oppose the government. We are part and parcel of the UPA," Ramadoss said.
Ramadoss warned the media against publishing stories about his party without cross checking the facts with him.
