A trade delegation from Pakistan- occupied Kashmir (PoK) will visit Jammu and Kashmir next month to discuss arrangements for commencement of cross-border trade.
A 15-member PoK Chamber of Commerce and Industries delegation will hold week-long talks with businessmen here on trade through the Line of Control points of Aman Sethu and Chakan-da-bagh on Uri-Muzaffarabad and Poonch-Rawalakote trans-border roads in Baramulla and Poonch districts.
Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industries President Ram Shai told PTI that talks on items for trade will be held from October 13.
India has already sent to Pakistan the list of 24 items that includes Kashmiri carpets, pashmina shawls, R S pura basmati, kishtwari rajma, Kashmiri saffron and cricket bats.
"These items will be debated and a final shape will be given to the menu of LoC trade," Shai said adding that no items of Ladakh have been included in the trade.
"We hope for the positive and good trade relations with other side," he said.

On September 22, officials of the two countries met to take the trade talks forward. However, a final decision on the issue, particularly the timing, will be taken when Prime Minister Manmohan Singh meets Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari in New York today.
The Uri-Muzaffarabad road was opened on April 7, 2005 and Poonch-Rawalakote road opened on June 20, 2006 to facilitate travel of divided family members. There are over 70,000 divided families living on two sides of the border.
