Aimed at bridging the information gap between the non-resident Indian (NRI) students and the medical colleges in the country, the portal provides complete information on all medical colleges, nursing and para-medical colleges in the country. It also contains information on reputed hospitals and medical/pharmaceutical research centres.
Notifications issued by various health universities on time to time basis and results of various competitive examinations for medical education would be made available on the portal, said C V Siva Prasada Rao, the editor of www. medistudies.com .
