Posters indirectly targeting Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi appeared once again in different parts of Ahmedabad on Friday, leaving the state BJP members in a tumble.
This is a second such incident this week after posters bearing the pictures of Modi's bete noire Sanjay Joshi appeared in the city on June 5. The posters were seen in as many as three locations, BJP sources said.
The poster which appeared suddenly in the some areas, this time, did not have the pictures of Joshi, but had text which said, "Follow Raj Dharma, follow praja Dharma and follow party dharma."
The text on the poster apparently was directed at the words spoken by former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee when he visited Gujarat during the 2002 communal riots. During his visit to a relief camp in 2002 Vajpayee had asked Modi to follow 'raj dharma'. The BJP leadership in the state was still puzzled with the second such poster appearing with in a week. However, they have chosen not to comment on the issue.
Appearance of such posters targeting Modi before the assembly elections in December later this year, in an indication that there is a growing dissent among the party against the chief minister.
This is also evident from the actions of senior BJP leader Keshubhai Patel, who has been openly criticising the state government and accusing it of not being democratic in its operations.

The posters are appearing at a time when Modi is facing flak within the party. BJP's Kamal Sandesh, in its editorial had criticised Modi without naming him.
On Tuesday posters with Joshi's pictures and text 'nobody becomes big (leader) with a narrow mind' had appeared in Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Delhi. These posters were later removed by the BJP workers.
