Pranab to meet heads of Banks

Pranab Mukherjee, who is looking after the Finance ministry in view of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s hospitalisation for the heart by-pass surgery, would hold meeting with the heads of the Public Sector Banks on February 2.

According to an official release, the meeting would also review the credit flow and status of implementation of the packages announced recently for stimulating the economy.

Chief Managing Directors (CMD)s of public sector banks and government financial institutions have been called for the meeting.
