The banking stocks are likely to hog the limelight with much action in ICICI Bank, Federal Bank and United Western Bank. The Sensex seems headed towards the 12,000 mark in the short term. The Sensex is likely to face resistance around 11,830-11,840-11,860 levels. On the downside, the index may take support around 11,730-11,710-11,700 levels.
