President Pratibha Patil has contributed a month's salary to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund to help the victims of Bihar floods, a statement from the Rashtrapati Bhawan today said.
As Bihar is engaged in a massive relief operations after the unprecedented floods caused by the Kosi river, financial and other help continues to pour in.
Parliamentarians have also contributed their one month’s salary towards the relief and rehabilitation of the flood victims.
