Singh called on the chief minister at his residence on Tuesday. Badal sought the services of the top brass of the army to further intensify the state government's efforts to strengthen and revamp the education and infrastructure in Punjab through their vast experience and expertise.
He further said that some of the retired officers of the army were already rendering their valuable services to the state government in the education as well as the Infrastructure development sectors. Badal also asked him to provide valuable inputs for the world class War Memorial- Cum-Museum being setup at Amritsar at a cost of Rs 100 crore.
