Railways seek private partners for port projects

 These include the stretches at Hassan-Mangalore, which is estimated at Rs 300 crore, the Gandhidham-Palanpur project, worth Rs 400 crore, and the line doubling work for Panvel-JNPT, estimated at Rs 53 crore.  Enthused by private sector projects and their encouraging pace of work, the railways have decided to reschedule the $330 million loan from the Asian Development Bank for projects under the golden quadrilateral
