The Tamil Maanila Congress (TMC) yesterday hit out at AIADMK suprerno J Jayalalitha charging her with 'deliberately' boycotting the joint election rally with Congress president Sonia Gandhi at Villupuram on Sunday. Former Union minister P Chidambaram said the Congress should have learrit about the "dependability of Jayalalitha from her failure", while other party leaders, in a joint statement, described it as a 'calculated disrespect'. "Had the Congress heeded our advice not to align with the AIADMK, this would not have happened," Chidambaram said.
Fernandes dismisses report on Kargil film
Defence minister George Fernandes yesterday described as "baseless and fabricated" reports that his ministry was preparing a vide
