Parthrajsinh Jadeja from Krishna Higher Secondary School in Rajkot, has secured first rank in the Gujarat State Secondary Education (GSEB) Science results on Monday.

He scored 96.80 per cent marks in group B category.

"Despite being a hardcore cricket buff, I avoided watching television for last six to seven months, and simply concentrated in my studies. I wanted to see myself in the top 10 list in board. However, first rank across the state is something which I never expected," said Parthrajsinh Jadeja, while speaking to Business Standard.

He is aiming to enter into the field of medicine or biotechnology.

"I wish to specialise in Neurology, bit if it does not work than I would pursue in Bio-technology," he added.

According to his parents Ravindrasinh Jadeja and Bhartiba Jadeja, "When we heard the news, we broke into tears, It is all becaouse of his hardwork and grace of God."

"Parthrajsinh's result is a paradigm shift in itself, as he has scored 100 out of 100 in biology, 99 marks out of 100 in physics and 98 marks out of 100 in chemistry, with 96.80 per cent marks. He has created a historical milestone not only for himself and his family, but has also made his school feel proud," said Mahendra Gajera, school Principal.
