Ramky To Build To Two Waste Handling Facilities In Bengal

The West Bengal government has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Hyderabad-based waste management company Ramky Group for setting up a hazardous waste treatment project at Haldia.

The West Bengal Pollution Control Board has also roped in the Ramky group for setting up a bio-medical waste treatment plant at Howrah.

The bio-medical waste treatment project is expected to be ready by September this year creating a common facility for treating the waste generated by hospitals in Kolkata and Howrah.
