The Rajasthan government has been asked to rationalise stamp duty structure and impose user-charges to augment revenue.
In a pre-budget memorandum to the Rajasthan government, the Punjab, Haryana and Delhi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) said stamp duty of more than 12 per cent was affecting new industrial and urban development projects, including those related to the tourism sector.
