Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee, set to take over reins in West Bengal, today described the massive mandate for her party as 'miracle and magic' and blamed the 'attitude' of ministers for the defeat of Left Front.

"It is a miracle and magic result. Our slogan was for change and not revenge and it will be maintained," Banerjee told a group of journalists at her Kalighat residence.

Attributing the defeat of quite a number of Left Front ministers to 'their audacious attitude', Banerjee said "CPI(M) is totally finished in the state.

"From Mangalkot to Bally, CPI(M) is nowhere to be found," she said.

Speaking about the state's financial condition she said it was dismal and that there was Rs two lakh crore debt. "Our priority is to set it right."

Banerjee said she would donate Rs 1 crore, realised from the auction of her paintings, to the moribund state exchequer.

Asking her party workers not to fall prey to provocation, the Trinamool supremo asked her party workers to build 'martyr columns' in the state tomorrow in memory of 'the martyrs of Singur, Nandigram and Netai' and to light diyas on them.
