For agricultural labourers (AL), consumer price index-based inflation increased to 12.85% from 12.70% in May. For rural labourers (RL), it rose to 12.65% from 12.50%.
The rise was mainly because of inflation in food items -- for AL, this rate rose to 13.97% in June from 13.37% in May and for RL, this rose to 13.92% from 13.14%.
