The DMRC, the working partner in the Rs 5,181-crore Kochi metro project, was responsible for completing the construction of RoB in record time.
Earlier in last December, DMRC had finished the work of the north over bridge at Kaloor and north junctions.
The estimated cost of RoB is Rs 38 crore, which includes the cost of civil works, shifting of utilities, deposit with railways and cost of the land. The DMRC said Kochi Metro Rail Limited and the district administration had helped in acquiring lands.
