The Maharashtra government has directed the chairman of the Security Guards Board (SGB) to file first information reports (FIR) against private security agencies misutilising their registration with the SGB to wrongfully claim that they enjoyed exemption under the Maharashtra Private Security Guards (Regulation of Employment and Welfare) Act, 1981.
