Shiv Sena today offered to provide "Marathi workers" to industrial units in and around Nasik following the exodus of many labourers in the wake of the anti-North Indian campaign led by MNS earlier this month.Sunil Bagul, district president of Shiv Sena, said production in many factories of Satpur and Ambad industrial belt was avdersely affected after a large number of unskilled North Indian workers left Nasik due to the stir against them.Bagul said many units have suffered losses, and Sena was ready to provide Maharashtrian unemployed youths for work to prevent further industrial decline. He also assured that the youths will not be forming any unions after they join work.There are 940 companies at the Satpur industrial estate out of which 358 were affected while 582 units are working. There are 480 companies in Ambad industrial area.Bagul, who himself is a labour contractor, has written letters to workers' organisations expressing his readiness to provide workers in view of the present crisis in the industrial units.
