The Samajwadi Party today said it will decide tomorrow whether to support a UPA government at the Centre in case the alliance falls short of majority.
"Our Parliamentary Board will meet tomorrow and decide our future strategy," SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav told reporters when asked whether his party was ready to extend support to a Congress-led government at the Centre.
The SP had supported the UPA government in July last year after the Left pulled out on the issue of Indo-US nuclear deal because "it felt the importance of nuclear power for the country," he said.
Asked about the party's dwindling strength in the Lok Sabha, Yadav said "we accept the verdict of the people with humility. We are not worried at all".
On arch-rival BSP's performance in Uttar Pradesh, he said "I do not consider it as our competitor."
