Mohammed Haneef's wife and a month-old daughter he has never seen are among those waiting for him after the Australian authorities dropped terror charges against him."I spoke to Haneef this morning when he was in Bangkok (from where he is coming to Bangalore). He is very happy and relaxed...He will be with the family soon," his wife Firdous Arshiya told PTI.Haneef, 27, was particularly eager to see his daughter Haniya who was born on June 26 - less than a week before he was arrested in Australia on suspicion of links to a failed terror plot in Britain.Firdous said Haneef had, on seeing a photograph of his daughter, remarked that Haniya "looks like me". "He heard her voice (on the phone) and said he would come and play with her," she said.Haneef's family is organising a get-together of close relatives and friends tonight to celebrate his return from Australia where he was held in detention for 25 days.Firdous, who had stead-fastly defended Haneef, said the menu for the dinner would include "biriyani and all kinds of sweets because he likes sweets".Ashwaq, Haneef's father-in-law, described his release as a "miracle". "Though he was innocent, if things had taken a different form, he would have been languishing in jail. It is a miracle. We are all celebrating it."Haneef's neighbours said they, too, planned to organise a party to welcome the doctor.Haneef is scheduled to arrive here from Bangkok at 9.30 pm IST.
