The truth is if the Congress government accepted a state recommendation and that recommendation turns out to be mala fide, the state shares responsibility.
I’m agreeing with you. I’m agreeing. The mala fide point is something which I have made. I said if there has been any allocation of a coal block where there has been malafide — and CBI is investigating — go ahead and investigate.

So we’ve achieved consensus on one point that if there was mala fide in an instance where allocation was made on the recommendation of a state, that state and the party in power in that state shares responsibility with the Centre. We agree on that point?
We agree. Yes.... I have absolutely no hesitation that if there has been a mala fide allocation of coal where the state government may have made a recommendation, please go ahead and make an inquiry.
