Surat police to curb vanishing firms

A decision to curb instances of vanishing firms was taken during a meeting of a delegation of Federation of Surat Textile Traders Association (Fostta), with Surat's guardian minister, Narottam Patel, and commissioner of police, Sudhir Sinha.
 
Giving details of the same, the federation's spokesman, Devkishan Manghani said, "During the meeting, the textile representatives apprised the guardian minister about the huge losses being suffered by the industry on account of disappearance of textile firms from the city. The minister instructed commissioner Sinha to take steps to curb the vanishing firm incidents."
 
The industry is grappling with mounting losses. Manghani said,"The commissioner has assured that the police would initiate stern action against the cheats."
