This has resulted in prices dropping to Rs 9.60 per minute from Rs 24 per minute for Tata Indicom landline, fixed wireless telephone and payphone in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Maharashtra. While for subscribers in Mumbai and Delhi the rates are Rs 14.40 per minute, a reduction of 40 per cent.
Tata Indicom mobile customers can now call the US, Canada and Europe at Rs 8 per minute at a pulse rate of 60 seconds.
