Telangana IT minister to meet Tata Group chairman

Delegation to make a representation on new industrial policy and various activities being undertaken in the state

Telangana minister for panchayat raj and information technology, K Taraka Rama Rao, will be meeting Tata group chairman, Cyrus Mistry, and chief executives of seven Tata companies in Mumbai on Tuesday.

Rao will explain to the Tata group representatives about the new industrial policy of Telangana and the various activities being undertaken by the state government.

He will request them to set up a manufacturing unit in the state and also to take part in the recently established Telangana incubation hub and Telangana Academy of Skills, an official release said here on Monday.

Besides Mistry, Rao is scheduled to meet Sanjay Ubale, managing director of Tata Realty and Infrastructure Limited, Ravi Pisharody, executive director of Tata Motors, Sukran Singh, managing director of Tata Advanced Systems Limited, Anil Sardana, managing director of Tata Power and executives of Tata Capital, TCS and Tata Telecommunications.
