Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray today expelled Narayan Rane, who is also leader of the opposition in the Maharashtra assembly, from the party.Announcing Rane's expulsion from the party after a meeting of party legislators and office bearers, the Sena supremo said: "If Rane has any self-esteem left, he should also resign from his assembly seat because he was elected to the legislature on the Sena ticket."The new leader of opposition in the state assembly would be announced later, he said.
