The Tamil Nadu government has issued orders for setting up country-specific industrial parks – for Japan, Korea, Finland, Germany and France – in the state. The government also said that new industries providing direct jobs to more than 750 people and 1,500 in the case of Chennai, Tiruvallur and Kancheepuram districts, will be given special incentive packages, provided at least 75 per cent of the staff belong to the state, according to the policy note for industries presented by deputy chief minister M K Stalin on Monday.
