Three Indian ministers and top officials will visit Canada this month to boost economic ties between the two countries, which signed nuclear, mining and other deals during Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s visit to Toronto in June this year.
Union Power Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, Commerce Minister Anand Sharma, Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel will be in Canada later this month to enhance business ties between India and Canada, Preeti Saran, Consul General of India, said yesterday.
She said the visits were part of the efforts of the two countries to triple their bilateral trade, from less than $5 billion now, within the next five years.
