Chicago: The bail plea of Tahawwur Hussein Rana, who faces possible life sentence for involvement in the Mumbai attacks, has been opposed by federal prosecutors in a Chicago court, which asks the Pakistani-Canadian LeT operative to respond to this by January 20.  

New Delhi: Flights of Air India and other Indian carriers operating in South Asia have been put on high security alert following intelligence inputs that Pakistan- based LeT and Al-Qaeda-linked terrorists were plotting to hijack an Indian plane in the region.
