A roadshow on Odisha tourism was held at Pune on Saturday. Ninety five leading tour operators and travel agents of Pune participated in the event. Ten stakeholders from Odisha were also present there and the participants discussed about the possibility of increasing the tourist inflow to Odisha from Pune (Maharastra). The state minister for Tourism and Culture, Ashok Chandra Panda attended the road show. Addressing the media, Panda talked about the state's new Tourism Policy and highlighted the new initiatives taken by the Odisha government for promotion of tourism. Director, Tourism, M. R. Patnaik made a presentation on tourism potential in the state.
Odisha Tourism will organise its 2nd road show at Bhopal in September this year.
