IIMTF 2004 is jointly promoted by Bharat Chamber of Commerce and Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India-Bengal (CREDAI-Bengal), an apex association of the builders in Kolkata. |

It will open on September 10 in the city. Claiming it was the largest trade fair the city has ever witnessed, N R Goenka, president of BCC, said, "The main objective is to change the perception of domestic and international investors about the city and the state". |

The footfall is expected to be around 25,000 per day. Half of the money collected as entry fee, at the rate of Rs 5 per ticket, will be contributed to the chief minister's relief fund. |

The fair will have around 400 participants including those from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey and Kenya. The participants have been accommodated in six air-conditioned hangers. |

The state's buoyant real estate sector will be on show at 94 stalls with more than Rs 3000 crore worth of property on offer. |

Real estate developers, housing finance companies, building and allied industries, electronic items, food , fitness and health enterprises will be participating. |

Financial institution and builders would offer special packages like loan cheque clearance within a day, said CREDAI officials. |
