Trai paper on interconnect charges in Dec

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) will issue a consultancy paper on Interconnect charges in December. Conventionally, a consultancy paper is rolled out to get opinion from all sectors of the industry, based on which a regulation is made.

“According to the internal work-plan of Trai, it is planned to issue a consultation paper in December 2008,” the regulator said in a release on Tuesday.
