TVS Electronics, computer peripheral manufacturer and the market leader in the dot matrix printer segment, has launched its latest printer called MSP 255MARATHON.
The target segments for this product would be small and medium businesses such as distribution agencies, banks, transport and educational institutions which would require high-speed printing of ledger accounts, payroll, invoices, statements and office printing.
With this, TVS Electronics expects to strengthen its market share in the 9-wire 136-column segment. The new printer has a high printing speed of 432 characters per second.

The new TVS Ribbon Cassettes, which utilises the Unique Ink Bank Technology for refilling has been used in this printer. This would print 3 times more than the other normal printers due to the high lifespan of 10 million characters per ink-bank.
The printer comes with a 2-year warranty including the print head and is expected to reduce maintenance cost by around 40 per cent. The printer, inclusive of taxes, is priced at Rs 12,450.
