The United Kingdom (UK) is keen to expand trade ties with by seeing huge business potential in the state that has been bestowed with rich minerals.
“There is huge business potential in the State of Chhattisgarh for British companies," British Deputy High Commissioner to Eastern India Sanjay Wadvani said here while speaking at the seminar ‘UK and Chhattisgarh in Partnership’. The business outreach event was organized jointly by the Confederation of Indian Industry Chhattisgarh and UK Trade and Investment (UKTI). The event, billed as the biggest in the region and being held to give a flip to British business in Chhattisgarh, would help British companies to realise the growth and business potential in the state, Wadvani said.
“The UKTI team, based at the British deputy high commission in Kolkata can help companies in Chhattisgarh by identifying UK manufacturers and suppliers for their requirements," he said, adding that UKTI could also help connect with UK companies looking for partnerships and enabling technology transfer and joint ventures by facilitating interactions with visiting business delegations from the UK.
