The banned United Liberation Front of Assam (Ulfa) has warned the Bodo Liberation Tigers (BLT) leaders that it would point to the Bodo insurgent outfit if it fails to restrain itself from attacking Ulfa cadres. Reacting to the alleged killing of two Ulfa activists by BLT on February four, the Front's publicity secretary Mithinga Daimary through the local papers on Saturday asked the Bodo leaders to spell out their policy towards the Ulfa within 10 days.
Condemning the killing of its cadres Bichitra Das and Mohan Singh at Nalbari by Bodo tigers, Daimary said that the Ulfa had no grievance against the BLT to warrant such killings. The Bodo militants should make public if they were in possession of evidence establishing Ulfa's involvement in any conspiracy againt them, he added. Reminding the BLT that its leaders had approached the Ulfa leadership prior to signing the Bodo accord proposing a united movement against the colonial designs of the Indian state, the Ulfa described the recent blt action as preposterous.
Daimary called upon BLT leaders and their cadres to involve themselves in an all out fight agains the Indian state.

Ulfa western zone chairman D Mushahary has, meanwhile, demanded that the BLT give a convincing explanation justifying the killing of the two Ulfa activists.
Mushahary warned that failure to do so would force the Ulfa to take strong action against the Bodo Liberation Tigers.
