The Bangalore-based United Pizza Restaurant Pvt Ltd is planning to ramp up its presence in Gujarat and other western states.
At present, the company has 24 outlets across the country, including four at Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) fuel stations. Of the 24 outlets, the Ahmedabad outlet, which is thus far the only one in Gujarat, sells the maximum number of pizzas on a daily basis.
The company is also looking at setting up least 50 exclusive outlets through franchisees across the country. Of this, 10 outlets will be set up in Mumbai, while others will be in cities such as Vadodara, Surat and Anand.
