"Under the programme, block offices of as many as 31 districts had already been computerised and computerisation of applications have also started," Principal Secretary, Information Technology, V N Garg said.
While in the first phase all the block offices will be computerised, in the second phase police stations will be covered, Garg said.
The complaints of people would be divided into 10 categories which would include revenue, police, development, panchayat, electricity, education, health, food and civil supplies etc, so that concerned officers could be directed about their easy redressal.
The state Information Science Centre had developed a software for this scheme, which had been provided to district science officers, he said.
The monitoring of the progress of disposal of complaints would be done by DMs at the district level through a website and they will have to submit a progress report in this regard, the Principal Secretary said.
