The US indices dropped on Tuesday as hopes of rate cut this year diminished after Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernake warned that inflation is still a major concern.The Dow Jones industrial average shed 81 points to end at 13,595. The Nasdaq slipped seven points to 2611.Indian ADRs ended on a mixed note. VSNL advanced 1% to $17.66. HDFC Bank and Wipro were the other notable gainers. Satyam, ICICI Bank and Tata Motors slipped over 1% each to $24.76, $47.94 and $17.66, respectively.
