The Chief Minister said his government had taken up the agenda of the Congress party for implementation and accordingly, drinking water, power, education and infrastructre development had been given top priority with an emphasis on transparent administration. For Vaghela, who made his maiden entry into the assembly, winning the bye-election was a must to meet the constitutional obligation of getting elected to the House within six months of assuming office. , a deadline which expires on April 23.
