Citigroup’s chief executive Vikram Pandit has started writing blog posts on a newly launched website, a move termed as an effort to gather public support and rebuild the troubled firm’s old image.
The blog, new.Citi.Com promises to encourage discussions, ideas and debate with people.
Pandit’s article ‘How Citi is Changing’ is currently the latest article on the website.
He wrote the blog is “a new way for us to share ideas and create dialogue on all sorts of topics ranging from global economy to personal finance, micro finance to mobile technology”.
