Though this run rate is not likely to slow down in the near future, it may be interesting to note that the city does not have an even spread of IT companies.
Instead, South-East Bangalore, comprising the entire stretch between the Electronics City and Whitefield, seems to be getting all the attention. It continues to be the favourite hot-spot to new companies wanting to set up shop in Bangalore. The coming up of the IT corridor between these two locations has added to the popularity.
South Bangalore has always been a residential hotspot, while the North seems to shaping up well as an alternative location. Unfortunately, it is West Bangalore that has lost out in the race.
