"I will be complying with the high court's direction that we renegotiate with BIAL in order to reopen HAL (airport)," he said in his first press interaction in New Delhi after becoming chief minister. The HAL airport was closed on May 24 under a contract with BIAL, the operator of the new airport. The court directions came on a public interest litigation.
