AIIMS Raipur to recruit 475 nurses, apply by July 31

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Raipur recently issued a notice regarding the direct recruitment of staff nurses (grade 1 and 2). Interested candidates have to submit online application forms by 5:00 PM on July 31, 2017 on the official website.

Remuneration
The pay-band for staff nurse-1 is Rs. 9,300 to Rs. 34,800 with grade pay of Rs 4,800. Candidates selected for staff nurse-2 post will be eligible for pay band of Rs 9,300 to Rs 34,800 with grade pay of Rs 4,600.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates keen on staff nurse-1 position should have completed BSc (nursing), four-year course from a recognized institute or BSc (post-certificate) or equivalent such as BSc nursing (two-year course) from a recognised institute. They should be registered with the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council and have three years experience as staff nurse grade 2 in a minimum 100-bedded hospital or healthcare institute. Candidates who have a hands-on experience on office applications, spreadsheets and presentations will be preferred. The age limit for the direct recruitment is between 21-35 years.
For staff nurse-2 position, the institute is keen on candidates with BSc nursing (four-year course) from a recognized institute or BSc (post-certificate) or equivalent such as BSc nursing (post-basic) (two-year course) from a recognised institute. Candidate should be registered with the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council. Candidates who have a hands-on experience on office applications, spreadsheets and presentations will be preferred. The age limit for the direct recruitment is between 21-30 years.

Age, and educational and experience qualifications will be counted on July 31, 2017, the last date of receipt of application. Relaxation in age will be as per Government of India rules.
Application process

Step-by-step guide to apply for AIIMS Raipur staff nurse recruitment 2017:

1. Visit the official website for AIIMS Raipur, aiimsraipur.edu.in
2. Click on the Vacancies tab
3. Beside the Notice For Recruitment To The Post Of Nurse Gr.I And Nurse Gr.II In AIIMS Raipur On Regular Basis notification click on Apply Online
4. Click on New Registration
5. Register by filling in details about the posy, full name, date of birth, email id and mobile number
6. After adding the Captcha code, input the OTP generated on valid mobile number
7. Login again using the registered login id and password
8. Enter details in the fields provided
9. Upload the necessary documents.
10. Submit the application form
11. Download and save the application
12. Take a printout for further reference

Candidates have to pay Rs 1000 as the exam fee. Candidates of SC, ST and those with disabilities are exempt from the fee. Application fee is required to be remitted online only.

Selection procedure
Normally, all the candidates whose application forms are accepted will be called for the computer-based examination. However, if deemed necessary, the competent authority reserves the right to shortlist candidates for the examination by duly appointed search-cum-selection committee as per the criteria fixed.
While shortlisting the candidates on the basis of marks scored at Graduation level, AIIMS, Raipur will follow the yardstick adopted by the university/ institution and take into account the percentage of marks as indicated in the final year marks statement.
Scheme of examination
The recruitment exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English, and candidates will have 90 minutes to answer 100 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will also be required to appear for a skill test, the scheme of which will be uploaded on the website of the institute.

There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Skill test will be held only for such candidates who meet the cut off prescribed by AIIMS Raipur in the computer-based examination.
Final merit list will be drawn on the basis of performance in computer-based examination and skill test.
