Allegations of Exam Leak:

On May 31, the Vyapam Scam whistle-blower Anand Rai had alleged that the AIIMS entrance test was leaked while the exam was being conducted on May 28 across the nation with as many as 2.8 lakh candidates appearing for the exam. The Institute immediately set up a panel to investigate the matter. Later the panel was of the opinion that some candidates may have resorted to deceptive methods with the help of officials at an exam centre in the state of Uttar Pradesh. However, this official word from the panel challenged Rai’s claim about the leak. He said that he will now have to look into the matter to find out the irregularities and if needed he will file a public charge sheet.

According to the PTI’s report, an AIIMS official assured that this investigation will not delay the announcement of MBBS Entrance Exam Results.
