BSE Odisha Matric result 2019 Results will also be available as phone message; overall pass percentage improves from last year

Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) has declared the results for BSE 10th class examination, 2019, on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. Candidates can now check their scores by going to the official website of Odisha BSE i.e www.bseodisha.ac.in and www.bseodisha.nic.in. 

Results for the BSE Odisha 10th Result 2019 was earlier scheduled to be declared on May 14, 2019. However, the board delayed the results due to the disruption caused in Odisha by Cyclone Fani, which hit the state on May 3.

This year a total of 523,000 candidates appeared in the Odisha class 10 board examinations that was conducted from February 23 to March 8, 2019 according to official data.

Here are steps you need to follow to check BSE Odisha 10th Result 2019

Step 1: Log on to any of these websites - www.bseodisha.ac.in, www.bseodisha.nic.in, orissaresults.nic.in, result.gov.in

Step 2: Look for 'Result' link and click on it

Step 3: In the given page, enter your name and registration number and click on the ‘Submit’ button

Step 4: Dowload the result and keep it for future reference

If the websites are down, one can get the result directly on their mobile by sending an SMS to 5656750 in the given format - RESULT<space>OR10<space>ROLL NUMBER.

According to local media, scanned copies of answer sheets will be available on www.bseodisha.ac.in from 2 pm onwards.

In 2018, the overall pass percentage stood at 76.23 percent. The highest pass percentage of 88.25 percent was recorded in Baleswar district of Odisha.

This year, the overall pass percentage for BSE Odisha 10th Result 2019 showed 8.39 per cent improvement with a record of 84.62 per cent, where girls performed better than the boys.
