Catholic Syrian Bank to hire 30 specialist officers

Catholic Syrian Bank (CSB) recently issued a recruitment notification inviting applications to fill up 30 specialist officer positions across India. The bank is looking at candidates who have successfully completed charter accountancy (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Bank will announce the details about the last date to apply for and the date of the online test on its website at a later stage. 

Vacancies
 

The total number of vacancies pan India is 30. Selected candidates may be appointed as assistant manager or manager in scale I/II in IBA scale considering their experience and as per the bank’s existing terms and conditions. They may be posted in the branches/offices primarily in Kerala and Tamil Nadu states.  In Kerala, the branches are located in Thrissur, Angamaly, Chalakudy, Ernakulam, Muvattupuzha, Kottayam, Kozhikode, Kannur, Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram. In Tamil Nadu, the branches are located in Coimbatore, Avinashi, Erode, Tiruppu, Salem, and Guindy, T Nagar and Beach Road in Chennai. 

The candidates can also be posted in branches in other locations, across the country, including Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Vashi, New Delhi, Secunderabad, Vadodra and Bangalore.  

Eligibility criteria
 

Applications are invited from candidates who have successfully completed charted accountancy (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India will be considered.  Interested candidates have to be maximum 40 years of age as on April 31, 2017.

Application process
 

Candidates have to apply online for the post of specialist officers 2017 as per the format given in the official website www.csb.co.in. No other mode of application will be accepted. Application received manually by post will not be considered. Eligible candidates should have valid personal email ID, which should be kept active till the declaration of results to receive the call letter/interview advice/other updates.

A step-by-step guide on how to fill CSB application form: 
 

1. Visit the official website which is www.csb.co.in

2. Click on the Careers tab

3. Under the Specialist Officers – Chartered Accountants tab, click on the Apply Now link

4. Register using a valid email id and mobile number 

5. After registering log in again 

6. Fill the form with complete information without any mistake

7. Upload the required documents, signature and photograph

8. Click on the Submit button

9. Save the application form
10.Take print out of the form for future reference

Selection procedure  

The selection will be based on a test/group discussion and a personal interview as per the bank’s decision.
